Alongside our established training programmes, Inspirations Nurseries and Forest School now offers professional advisory and consultancy services for early years settings in the UK and internationally.
Drawing on our practical expertise in child-centred learning environments, outdoor education, and creative early years pedagogy, we work with schools and nurseries to review practice, develop learning spaces, and support professional development for teaching teams.
Our advisory work includes observation, staff training, and tailored recommendations that help settings transform their environments and teaching approaches to better support curiosity, exploration, and independent learning.

What does our advisory service consist of?
We offer a range of in person and online courses, in addition to bespoke long term training programs.
Short course in person advisory
- The aim of this course is to review your current early years practice and provide you with in the moment tailored advice to bring out the full potential of your setting.
- This course consists of:
- An initial meeting (online) to discuss your current settings provision and areas you would like to work on.
- A one day in person workshop at your setting to review current practice, and advice on how to implement the ‘Inspirations ethos’.
Short course online advisory
- This online course provides a more flexible advisory service where learning takes place online. The course aims to equip you and your team with in depth knowledge, examples, and planning templates on a range of early years areas.
- The course consists of:
- An initial meeting (online) to discuss your current settings provision and areas you would like to work on.
- A series of webinars delivered by our expert trainers on a schedule outlined by you.
- Our online courses are designed with three levels, covering either 3, 5 or 8 webinars. The more webinars you choose, the more in depth your learning will be.
- The initial meeting will be used to create an individualised ‘action plan’ for your setting. This will outline key areas you would like to develop, and aspects of the Inspirations ethos that you would like to explore.
- The webinars are designed to introduce you to the Inspirations ethos, and then delve deeper into several themes of early years provision. The following modules can be covered:
- Introduction to the Inspirations ethos
- Learning and development
- Loose parts
- Arts and creativity
- Outdoor Learning
- Interests and provocations
- Phonics
- School readiness
- These online sessions will be delivered by experienced trainers, and will involve discussion and collaboration.
- Sessions are approximately 1 hour in duration, and can be scheduled at a time to suit you, either during or after typical work hours.
- At the end of the course, you and your team will have a detailed knowledge of different aspects of the Inspirations approach to early years. You will have examples of how to enhance your provision and knowledge of how to implement it.

Our previous partnerships
We have collaborated internationally with an example being our work in Türkiye. We helped implement the ‘Inspirations ethos’ within a large preschool, helping to transform their environment and teaching practices.
This collaboration was an example of a long term training package spanning one year. We began with an exploratory questionnaire and report to identify the current practices within the school, which was used to inform a series of online modules. Two modules were conducted via interactive webinars, each culminating in a task for the teachers to complete. These tasks were used to help the teachers start to implement the Inspirations approach before a visit by Inspirations staff to the school.
A further 7 modules followed the transformative visit by Inspirations staff to the school. You can read the final reflections from the school in the end of project report below.
We know that each setting has different needs, so get in touch to discuss how our expertise can help your setting take the next step in educational excellence.
